Hot Garlic Potato Chips

3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon minced or pressed garlic
2 bags plain salted kettle-fried potato chips
1/8 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Heat the butter and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat; do not brown the garlic. Arrange the chips evenly over 1 or 2 baking sheets, reserving the crumbs and broken pieces for another use. Warm the chips in the oven for 5 minutes or until hot and glistening; do not allow to darken. Place in a large bowl. Drizzle the garlic butter over the chips. Sprinkle with the pepper and parsley. Toss carefully to evenly distribute the seasonings. Serve immediately.
