    Sausage & Cheese on Rye Pizzas

    2 lb ground sausage (Hot is good if you like spicy)
    1 lb Velveeta cheese
    1 T. Worchestershire sauce
    1 lb party rye or pumpernickel bread

    Recipe



    1. Sauté and drain sausage.

    2. Chop the cheese into chunks.

    3. Put ingredients into a microwave-proof dish and heat until the cheese is almost melted. Add Worchestershire sauce. Stir to blend well.

    4. Spread about a tablespoonful of the mixture (a bit more or less ... use your own judgment) on each slice of bread.

    Do one of the following:

    Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400ºF for 20 minutes and serve immediately.

    OR

    Place on a cookie sheet and cover to keep in refrigerator for 24 hours before baking.

    OR

    Place on a cookie sheet that will fit in your freezer. When frozen, layer in plastic bags and return to freezer.
