    Southwestern Appetizer Cheese Cake

    2/3 cup of crushed tortilla chips
    2 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
    Three 6 ounce packages of softened cream cheese
    One 10 ounce package of shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 ounces of sour cream
    1 chopped tomato
    1/4 cup of sliced black olives
    1 cup of cottage cheese
    4 eggs
    4 ounces of chopped chilies
    8 ounces of jalapeno dip
    1/2 cup of chopped green onion

    Combine tortilla crumbs and butter. Press into 9 inch spring form pan. Bake at 325ºF. for 15 minutes. Blend cottage cheese in blender. Add cream cheese. Add egg (one at a time). Mix well. Blend in shredded Cheddar cheese and chilies. Pour over crust. Bake at 325ºF. for 1 hour. Combine sour cream and dip. Spread on top. Bake 10 minutes more. When completely cool. Remove springform from pan. Top with sour cream, chopped tomato, olives and onions. Serve with whole tortilla chips.
