20 pounds of grapes (Concord)
3 quarts water
3 pounds of sugar Recipe
Clean & stem grapes.
Boil until mushy & drain through cheesecloth, squeezing to get out all the juice.
To hot juice, stir in the sugar. Bring to a boil & stir & cook until sugar has dissolved.
Seal while hot in scalded jars. I froze mine in plastic containers & left 1" head space.
When ready to use, mix 1/2 & 1/2 with water.
