1 750-ml bottle good-quality silver tequila
Zest of 1 large orange, removed in 1 long, thin strip with a peeler
Zest of 2 large lemons, removed in long, thin strips
Zest of 2 large limes, removed in a long, thin strip
Recipe
Pour out and reserve about 1/2 cup of the tequila.
Add citrus zests to the remaining tequila. Return the reserved tequila to the bottle, cap, and let stand, agitating the bottle occasionally, for 48 hours before using. Freeze for long-term storage.
