Whipped Orange Slush

1 12-oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2¼ cups milk
¾ cup water
8 ice cubes
¼ cup sugar
1½ tsp. vanilla
12 large mint sprigs

In a blender container combine orange juice concentrate, milk, water, the 8 ice cubes, the sugar, and vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth and frothy. Transfer to a 2-quart covered storage container and add 4 of the mint sprigs. Chill until serving, up to 6 hours.
To serve, place one of the remaining mint sprigs in each glass. Using the back of a spoon, bruise leaves by pushing them against the side of each glass to release oils (a pinch of sugar in with the mint helps). Fill glasses with ice. Remove mint springs from orange mixture and discard. Shake or stir orange mixture and pour over ice in each glass. Makes eight 6-ounce servings.
