    Mix together in large bowl with electric mixer:

    2 1/4 cups canola oil
    3 cups sugar
    1 cup water
    8 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tbsp. apple pie sauce
    1 tbsp. baking soda
    6 cups flour
    2 peeled and diced apples
    Chopped walnuts to taste

    Then add 2 peeled and diced apples as well as chopped walnuts. Fill greased muffin tins, sprinkle top with raw sugar and bake until done.
