    3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup hot water(120 to 130 degrees)
    1/3 cup shortening, melted
    1/3 cup honey
    1 egg

    Combine 2 cups flour, yeast, and salt in a mixer bowl. Add water, melted shortening, honey and egg; beat for 2 minutes on medium speed until dough is smooth.
    Beat in remaining 1 cup flour with a spoon.
    Cover with oiled wax paper or plastic wrap; let rise until doubled(about 30 minutes).
    Fill greased muffin cups one-half full with batter.
    Cover; let rise until doubled(about 30 minutes).
    Preheat oven to 400.
    Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
