    Filling:
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Muffins:
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 cup sour cream
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt

    Instructions:
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Sprinkle filling mix (except for 2 tablespoons) on top of batter and cut through the batter with a knife to marble with filling.

    Spoon batter into 12 greased regular sized muffins cups. Sprinkle tops with remaining filling. Bake 22 minutes. Remove from pan and cool.

    Comments:
    This recipe is great served with baked apples.
