Breakfast Fruit & Sausage Bake

2 cups Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup oil
1 (17 oz) can apricots, peaches
1 (8 oz) brown and serve sausage links.
Combine first 4 ingredients, stir well (batter will be lumpy). Pour in 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Drain fruit reserve 1/2 cup liquid. Cut each sausage in half and arrange with fruit over butter. Bake 30 minutes.
Fruit syrup:
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup jam
1 Tbsp margarine
1 Tbsp cornstarch
3/4 cup maple syrup
Combine sugar and cornstarch
Stir in juice. Cook 'til thick, add syrup and margarine.
