Cheese and Bacon Waffles

2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 cup oil or butter
1 3/4 cups of milk
1 Tablespoon sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup (4 ounces) of shredded cheese
8 slices of bacon cooked well and then crumbled
Heat the waffle iron. Beat the eggs with a hand beater in a medium bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients, just until smooth (try not to over beat). Pour batter from a cup or pitcher onto the center of the greased iron. Bake about 5 minutes or until the steaming stops.
