Upside Down French Toast

1 loaf Challah or white bread
8 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 Tablespoons corn syrup
13"x9" pan
Recipe
Combine in saucepan -- 1 cup packed brown sugar, butter, corn syrup. Stir over medium heat till butter melts and sugar dissolves. For a minute or two, bring mixture to a boil, put in pan and tilt to coat the pan.
Cut crust off Challah and arrange in layers over carmel. Make a second layer of bread. Whisk vanilla, milk, eggs and pour over the bread.
Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered 40 minutes. Slice and then invert to serve. Garnish with fresh fruit. Enjoy!
