    2oz rye whiskey
    juice of 1 lemon
    juice of 1 lime
    1 tbs sugar
    4 oz club soda
    dash grenadine
    1 slice lemon
    maraschino cherry

    combine whiskey, grenadine, sugar, lime
    and lemon juice into a shaker with ice.
    Shake well, strain into highball glass with ice.
    Fill glass with club soda, add the cherry and lemon slice as garnish.
