Passion Fruit Cocktail Freeze

1/2 cup light rum
1 orange, peeled, seeded
1/3 cup sugar
4 passion fruit
2 cups crushed ice
Recipe
Puree the rum, orange pulp, sugar and passion fruit pulp (seeds and all) in a blender. Strain out the seeds. Return the mixture to the blender. Strain out the seeds. Return the mixture to the blender. Add the ice. Process until frosty and pureed. Taste for sweetness, adding more sugar if desired. Pour into 6 glasses.
For an alcohol-free drink, use 1/2 cup orange pineapple juice concentrate or orange tangerine passion fruit concentrate and 1/3 cup water in place of the rum and orange. Proceed as the recipe directs.
