1 c white wine
grated rind of 2 lemons
2 T lemon juice
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c milk
1 c whipping cream
2 egg whites, beaten until stiff
freshly grated nutmeg
Combine the wine, lemon rind, and juice and stir in the sugar. Allow 5 minutes for the sugar to dissolve.
Add milk and cream and beat with a rotary beater until frothy. (It will not thicken).
Top with beaten egg whites and dust with nutmeg.
