    1/2 cup of Half-and-Half
    2/3 cup White Chocolate Pieces, chopped
    1 (3-inch-long) Cinnamon Stick
    1/4 teaspoon freshly-grated Nutmeg
    3 cups Whole Milk
    1-1/2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
    1/4 teaspoon Pure Almond Extract

    In a medium saucepan, cook the half-and-half, white chocolate pieces, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg until the chocolate pieces are melted.

    Remove the cinnamon stick and discard. Add the whole milk to the pan and heat until the mixture is warm throughout. Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts. Serve immediately.

    NOTE: You can vary the taste of this hot chocolate by adding additional spices to the milk mixture. Try adding a 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon or a pinch of ground cloves or ground cardamom to the hot chocolate. Whisk the mixture lightly before serving.
