    3 pounds sugar
    1 quart water
    1/2 ounce almond flavoring
    2 large (32-ounce) containers orange juice
    2 large (32-ounce) containers pineapple juice
    1 large (32-ounce) container apple juice
    1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 large can concentrated frozen orange juice
    4 quarts ginger ale

    Mix sugar and 1 quart water. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; while still warm, add flavoring. Let cool. Add juices and pineapple. Put in plastic container (plastic milk jug is fine). Freeze until an hour or 2 before ready to serve. Cup top out of jug; place in bowl. Sliver off with knife, then add 1 large concentrated frozen orange juice and ginger ale. Serve.

    Makes: 3 gallons.
