Cheddar-Chive Biscuits

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
� tsp. salt
� cup butter
1� cups finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese (6 oz.)
� cup finely snipped chives or Italian parsley
1 cup milk
Recipe
Grease a baking sheet; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add cheese and chives or parsley; stir to combine. Add milk, stirring just until moistened. Drop batter by fork into 12 to 14 mounds onto the prepared baking sheet. (For miniature biscuits, drop mounds about the size of walnuts.)
Bake in a 400� oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm. Makes 12 to 14 regular biscuits or 48 miniature biscuits.
