    Fluffy Starry Night Biscuits

    2 cups all-purpose or cake flour
    1 tsp salt
    4 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    4 TB cold unsalted butter
    a little less than 1/2 cup plain yogurt
    a little less than 1/2 cup milk

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 450F. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Cut butter into small pieces and pulse together with dry ingredients in a food processor OR with a pastry cutter OR crumble together with your fingers. Stir in yogurt and milk gently, then put dough on a lightly floured board and knead just a little bit (about 10 times). Press down into a 3/4" thick rectangle and cut with cookie cutters or a knife (for fun shapes) or a drinking glass or biscuit cutter (for boring circles). Reshape leftover scraps and cut again.

    Bake 7-9 minutes or until biscuits are high and fluffy and golden brown. Serve immediately.
