    Add to the mixture after you mix the flour and shortening.
    To make:

    Cheese biscuits � add � to 1 cup shredded cheese. Any flavor
    Bacon biscuits � add � cup cooked and crumbled bacon and � cup shredded cheddar cheese
    Sausage biscuits � add � cup cooked sausage and � cup sharp cheddar cheese
    Cinnamon and raisin biscuits � add � cup raisins, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon sugar.

    After biscuits are baked, drizzle with � powdered sugar mixed with enough milk to make a runny icing.
