In a mixing bowl combine:
3 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 t. vanilla
Mix well.
In another mixing bowl mix:
3 1/2-4 c. flour (I used 3 3/4 cups of bread flour)
4 t. baking powder
Mix well and add to above. Mix and knead a bit to incorporate everything together well. Then pinch off golf ball sized balls and roll into about an 8 inch long thin piece, then fold the piece in half over your finger and twist the remaining together to form a sort of spiral shape. Once the dough is all finished this way, brush each with a beaten egg. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. So good with tea!
