Brown Sugar Pecan Muffins

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 teaspoon vanilla


Recipe



In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg and milk; stir well to combine. Mix together dry ingredients; add to sugar mixture. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
