    1 cup sugar
    2 cups unsifted flour
    chocolate chips for topping
    1/4 cup oil
    1-1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 Tablespoons cocoa
    12 ounces unsweetened applesauce

    Recipe



    Cream sugar, oil, and eggs. Add applesauce and mix well. Add remaining dry ingredients. Mix. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

    Makes: about 3 dozen mini muffins.
