2 eggs
5 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
2 packages active dry yeast
1 cup milk
1 cup lukewarm water
6 cups flour
6 tablespoons melted shortening
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Baking time 20-25 min.
Combine beaten eggs, sugar, salt, yeast, milk and water, mix well; add 3 cups flours, mixing until smooth. Add melted shortening, then remaining flour. Knead well and place in greased pan. Cover and set in warm place to rise, until doubled in size. Punch dough down, roll out and cut with biscuit cutter; place on baking sheet, cover and let rise again. When risen, back in preheated oven.
