    2 1/2 C 4 or 7 grain cereal
    2 1/4 C milk
    1/2 C raisins
    2/3 C applesauce
    1 egg
    2 C flour
    2/3 C sugar
    4 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt

    Recipe



    Combine milk and cereal. Let stand about 10 minutes and then add raisins. Add applesauce and egg; beat well. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. add to cereal mixture. Stir only until combined. Fill sprayed muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake at 400* for 25-30 minutes or till lightly browned. Makes 1 dozen muffins
