    1 3/4 c Flour
    1/2 ts Salt
    2 ts Cream of tartar
    1 ts Baking soda
    4 tb Sugar
    1 Egg
    1/2 c Milk
    4 tb Shortening or butter
    1/2 c Cooked squash

    Beat egg and sugar, add milk and squash. Then add dry ingredients sifted together, then shortening.
