    Bacon Stuffed Swiss Bread

    1 loaf French bread
    6 slices Bacon
    2/3 cup Butter, softened
    1/3 cup Green onions (chopped)
    4 teaspoons Mustard
    5-6 slices Cheese, Baby Swiss

    Recipe



    Slice French bread 3/4 way through loaf. Cut bacon in halves lengthwise.

    Spread: In bowl combine butter onions and mustard. Spread both sides of sliced bread while still attached at 3/4 cut.

    Cut eachcheese slice diagonally into triangles.Place a slice in each wedge of the of the loaf that has been cut. Cut bacon in half lenghtwise and drape over each piece of attached sliced bread.

    Place loaf on double thick foil and a cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes and serve.

    Makes 10 servings.
