    1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    3 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 large egg
    1 cup sour cream
    1/3 cup milk
    1 cup raisins

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray twelve 2 to 2 1/2 inch muffin cups.

    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into large bowl; set aside.

    Using wooden spoon or electric mixer, beat egg, sour cream, and milk in second bowl to blend well. Stir sour cream mixture into flour mixture only until just blended (batter will be stiff). Fold in raisins as you stir. Spoon batter into prepared muffin-pan cups, filling each nearly to top.

    Bake 20 to 22 minutes until golden brown and sharp knife inserted in muffin comes out clean.

    Makes 12 muffins
