    1c. packed light brown sugar
    1/2c. butter
    2T. light corn syrup
    1 small pkg. of chopped pecans
    6 croissants
    6 large eggs
    1 1/2c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt

    Recipe



    ~ Stir first 3 ingredients in saucepan and cook over low heat till smooth.
    ~ Pour into lightly greased 13x9 baking dish & sprinkle pecans over syrup. Place rolls in a single layer over syrup.
    ~ Whisk together rest of ingredients and pour over rolls. Cover and chill 8 hrs.
    ~ Remove from refrigerate and let stand for 30 min. @ room temperature.
    ~ Bake @ 350 for 45 min. Remove from oven and invert onto serving tray or foil lined cookie sheet. Serve with fresh strawberries. Serves 6. (Variation: peeled sliced apples can be put on top of the syrup after adding the pecans. Put rolls on top of the apples and bake.)
