Rise and Shine Sausage Cornbread Bake

1 lb. sausage (cooked, drained, and crumbled)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup applesauce
1 1/2 cups Buttermilk Self-Rising Cornbread Meal mix
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
2 Tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 Tablespoons cinnamon
Recipe
Bake at 425 degrees. Grease 10 inch ovenproof skillet. In a medium skillet, brown sausage and drain well. In a large bowl, combine eggs, Martha White cornmeal mix, applesauce, milk, oil, maple syrup, dates, pecans, and cinnamon. Pour half of cornmeal mixture in greased skillet. Sprinkle sausage over top of the cornmeal mixture. Pour remaining cornmeal batter over top. Bake at 425 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup. Serves 6 - 8.
