    Cherry-Fudge Delight Cake

    Base:
    1/3 cup oil
    1 pkg. fudge cake mix
    1 can cherry pie filling
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. almond flavoring

    Topping:
    1/2 cup sugar
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2/3 (6 oz) pkg. chocolate chips
    dash of almond extract

    Recipe



    Stir all base ingredients together until well blended (add cherry pie filling last). Bake in 9 x 13 in. baking pyrex at 350F for 25 minutes.

    Stir topping ingredients over heat (not too hot). Boil 1 minute and spread over warm cake. Or, if you'd like, buy a good premixed fudge topping and save yourself a step.

    Simple, but elegantly delicious!
