    7 eggs
    3 1/3 ozs sugar (approx. 1/2 c)
    1 tsp vanilla
    6 2/3 ozs semi-sweet chocolate
    1 pints whipping cream
    1.5 - 2 cup(s) cranberry sauce

    Recipe



    1. Melt chocolate
    2. Beat egg-white and vanilla until very firm.
    3. Beat egg-yolks, sugar, and lemon juice.
    4. First fold egg-yolk mixture and egg-white
    together and then carefully fold in
    chocolate.
    5. Bake at 375 F. in springform pan which is
    covered with aluminum foil, for about 30
    min. Turn off oven and leave it in for
    about 20 more min.
    6. Remove and cool.
    7. Carefully peel off aluminum foil; slice
    cake in half to make 2 layers.
    8. Spread cranberry sauce on both layers and
    stack.
    9. Cover whole torte with whipped cream,
    sprinkle top with grated chocolate, and
    chill.
