Cinnamon Toast Coffee Cake

2 cups all-purpose flour (sifted 2 times)
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup golden raisins
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
TOPPING:
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Recipe
Combine dry ingredients, stir in milk, 2 Tbsp. butter and vanilla ex until batter is smooth. Add raisins.
Spread evenly into well greased lightly floured jelly pan. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes until lightly browned.
While cake is baking, combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Remove cake from oven after 10 minutes of baking, drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter evenly over top of hot cake. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon topping mixture and return to oven. Bake 15 minutes more.
Serve warm
