Creamy Layer Cake

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs one at a time. Pour in milk and mix well, then add vanilla. Sift together flour and baking powder. Mix into first mixture a little bit at a time. Beat after each addition until smooth. Spread batter in two greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Place pans on a wire rack to cool for 30 minutes before removing the cake. Cut each layer into two layers. Spread each of three layers with Creamy Filling.
