3/4 cups sugar
12 eggs, separated
7 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Beat well sugar and egg yolks, add flour and mix. Add baking powder.

Beat egg whites very very stiff, add slowly to mixture.

Pour a thin layer of batter into three well greased 8-inch cake pan.

Bake at 350º for 5 minutes, ALLOW pans to cool, pour the remaining batter. Repeat baking procedure

ICING

1/2 lb butter
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp coffee
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 lb powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients well, frost between layers and top of cake
