    FOURTH OF JULY CHERRY PIE

    Use a heaping quart box of cherries (approx 2 pounds) of fresh TART/SOUR Cherries.

    Wash, drain and pit the cherries.

    Add 1 to 1_ C. Granulated White Sugar

    Add 2 _ T. Minute Tapioca

    Recipe



    Mix these ingredients, then allow to stand while you are making the crust

    Spray the pie plate with vegetable spray, then line with bottom pie crust.

    Pour in tart cherry pie filling, dot with butter or margarine, then place remaining pie crust on top, crimp and finishing the edges


    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Place pie into oven

    Immediately lower temperature to 350 degrees

    It is done when you notice bubbling through the top crust

    Approximately 45 — 60 minutes
