    Frozen Lemon Sherbet Pie

    1/2 cup sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    3 tbs. lemon juice
    pinch of salt
    1 tbs. lemon rind
    1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped
    crushed vanilla wafers

    Mix sugar, egg yolks, lemon juice, rind, and salt. Bring toa boil, stirriing frequently. Fold in whipping cream and stiffly beaten egg whites. Line 9" pie pan with crushed vanilla wafers. pour in filling and freeze.
