    Sugarless Apple Pie

    6 medium red delicious apples
    1- 6 oz. can frozen apple juice (thawed)
    1-1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. cinnamon and allspice
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice

    Crust:
    1-1/2 cups sifted white flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    2 Tbsp. wheat germ
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup cooking oil
    1/2 cup boiling water

    Recipe

    Peel and slice apples about 6 cups. Place apples in undiluted apple juice in large pan. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in small amount of water. Stir cornstarch into apple mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Add cinnamon and allspice. Fill pastry shell, dot top with margarine. To prepare CRUST: Mix flours, wheat germ and salt, stir in oil and water, mix until dry ingredients are moist, gather into a ball and roll out between 2 sheets of waxed paper, bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes a 10-inch pie
