List of Ingredients




1/2 lb. graham crackers, crushed
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 lb. less 2 T. butter, melted
1 lb. dry cottage cheese
1 c. sugar
3 heaping T. flour
4 egg yolks
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 c. regular milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg whites, beaten stiff


Recipe



Combine graham crackers and 1/4 c. sugar in a bowl. Add butter and mix well. Press into 13x9 baking dish and set aside. Put cottage cheese through sieve in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and then fold in egg whites. Pour into crust and sprinkle crumbs on top. Add a little nutmeg if desired. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Leave cake in oven with door ajar to cool.
