Choco-Peanut Butter Double Decker Fudge

3 cups sugar
3/4 cup real margarine (use margarine with at least 80% fat)
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 12 oz. package chocolate chips
1 7 oz. jar marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon vanilla
Grease 2 9” x 13” pans. Stir together sugar, margarine, evaporated milk in a 2 - 3 quart heavy pan. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 °. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla and blend well. Pour equally into 2 pans.

1 7 oz. jar marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon vanilla
Stir together sugar, margarine, evaporated milk in a 2 - 3 quart heavy pan. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 °. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in peanut butter until melted. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla and blend well. Pour equally on top of chocolate fudge. Cool and cut. Makes about 6 pounds.
