1 c Sugar
1/4 c Stick Margarine
1/3 c Evaporated Milk
1/4 c Crunchy Peanut Butter
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 c Oats
1/2 c Spanish Peanuts
Recipe
Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Heat sugar, margarine, and milk to a rolling boil in a 2-quart saucepan,
stirring constantly. Boil 3 minutes, stirring frequently; remove from
heat. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla. Stir in oats and peanuts.
Drop mixture by scant teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet (if mixture becomes
too stiff, stir in 1 or 2 drops of milk). Let stand about 30 minutes or
until firm.
