    Spareribs are baked with a tangy pineapple sauce baked beans.

    List of Ingredients




    3 pounds spareribs -- cut into 2-rib portions
    1 14-oz can pineapple -- Tibits style; undrainted
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 dash ground cloves
    3 cans baked beans -- (16 ounces each)
    1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 dash ground cloves

    Recipe



    Arrange ribs in an 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking pan. Combine drained syrup from pineapple, Worcester sauce, salt, onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, and dash of cloves. Pour over ribs. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour, basting frequently.

    Remove ribs and skim drain off as much excess fat as possible.

    Combine baked beans, pineapple tidbits, 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger, and a dash of ground cloves. Pour bean mixture into the baking pan; stir to combine with juices. Arrange ribs over top of bean mixture. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes longer.
