    2 cups cooked chicken, turkey, pork or beef, cut in 1/2-in. cubes
    1 cup seasoned bread stuffing cubes
    1 (1 pound) can mixed vegetables, drained, reserving liquid
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion or 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    3/4 to 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

    Topping:
    3/4 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon celery seed
    1 cup shredded American or Cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

    Recipe



    Combine all casserole ingredients. Spread in bottom of ungreased 12x8-inch (2 quart) baking dish. Mix topping ingredients together. Crumble topping over meat mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Broil top 3 to 5 minutes.

    If casserole mixture is to dry, you may add some of the canned vegetable liquid.
