Country Chicken 'n Biscuits

8 slices of bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
21/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 (10oz) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, cooked
1 cup chopped tomatoes
11/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cup biscuit mix
2/3 cup milk
1 can Durkee's French fried onions
Recipe
In a greased 1x12 inch baking dish, combine first four ingredients and 1 cup of cheese. Blend soup and 3/4 cup milk, pour over the casserole. Bake covered at 400 for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, 2/3 cup milk and 1/2 can French fried onions, mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonfuls to form 6 biscuits around edge of casserole. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Top with remaining cheese and onions and bake about 2-3 minutes.
