List of Ingredients
1-1/2 lbs beef stew cubes, cut into 1" chunks
2 large onions, thinly sliced
1 pkg (12-oz) fresh mushrooms (optional)
2 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp flour
1-1/2 tsp saltRecipe
Brown beef cubes in 1 Tbsp hot salad oil over medium high heat until well browned. Remove to bowl
In drippings, cook onions and mushrooms until lightly browned
Add 2 Tbsp paprika, stir & cook 2 minutes
Mix flour and 1-1/2 cups water and stir into onion mixture with salt
Add beef, stir to mix and heat to boiling
Transfer to 3 quart covered casserole dish and bake, covered at 350° for 1-1/4 hours
Serve over rice or noodles
Optional: Stir in sour cream when meat is done
