President Reagan's Macaroni & Cheese

1/2 pound macaroni
1 tsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. hot water
1 cup milk
3 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Recipe
Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender and drain thoroughly. Stir in butter and egg. Mix salt and mustard with hot water. Add to milk. Add cheese, reserving enough to sprinkle over top. Pour macaroni into buttered casserole. Add milk-cheese mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
