Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Bottom layer:
3/4 cup softened butter
1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate
2 cups finely ground pecans
1 cup granular Splenda
Top layer:
2 tablespoons butter
6 ounces cream cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup granular Splenda
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
Recipe
Bottom layer:
Melt chocolate and butter in over low heat. Stir in Splenda and ground pecans. Spread out in a medium baking dish (9x9 or 7x11). Place in refrigerator to cool.
Top layer:
Melt butter, cream cheese and cream in the same sauce pan until it is smooth. Add vanilla and Splenda. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Pour over chocolate layer; refrigerate. Cut into 24 squares once firm.
Makes 24 servings.
