List of Ingredients




1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cup baking cocoa
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pkg 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Recipe



Preheat oven to 350
In a large bowl beat butter sugar eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy
In another large bowl, combine flour cocoa, baking soda and salt
Add to the butter mixture
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until just set
Cool slightly before removing from the cookie sheets
