    2 c raisins
    1 c water
    1 c margarine
    2 c sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla
    4 c flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp nutmeg

    Recipe



    Combine raisins and water in a saucepan. Boil 5 minutes. Cool.
    Cream margarine, sugar and eggs. Add vanilla.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add raisins and water to creamed mixture.
    Add dry ingredients, and mix well.
    Drop from a dessert spoon onto greased cookie sheets.
    Bake 400° 10-12 minutes until lightly brown.
    Makes about 3 dozen cookies
