1 cup white sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 cups Rice Chex cereal
1 cup Spanish peanuts

Put sugar and syrup into a large glass bowl and microwave on full power until bubbly. Cook 30 seconds more. Stir. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir again. Add cereal and peanuts, combining well. Pour into a buttered 9x13 pan. When it is almost cooled cut into 3-inch squares.

Makes about 18 bars.
